GOT MY EYE ON YOU

A new sculpture is getting attention in the city of Chicago. It is a  30 ft. high GIANT EYEBALL, complete with colorful iris and realistic red veins. It was made by artist, Tony Tasset and can be seen in Pritzer Park.
It is big, but is it art? Write a few sentences about why you do or why you don't think it is art.

I think that the eye ball is art because art is any way of expressing yourself. If someone wanted to express themselves by building a huge eyeball, then it is still considered art.

  2. Yes it is art. Feel free to disagree, but thinking it isn't art is just an opinion. Tony Tasset spent his time on this sculpture, detailing as much as he can. It most certainly art, even if only one thinks so.

  3. I believe that this eyeball is art. Even though it may not look like art, It gives a complete array of what the human eye looks like. It is a sculpture that gives awe to people, and that's what art should do.

I believe that the eyeball is art. If you think about it, nature has given us the greatest landscapes that people can create. So why not go into detail on an eye. The complexities of an eye are s hard to comrehend that most people have no idea how they work, or why they are colored so extremely.
